I made it to Paris and my impressive friend, art collector Professor David Khalili had been awarded the rank of officier in the Ordre national de la Légion d’Honneur at the Palais De L'Elysee by Presidente Hollande. It was a beautiful event, celebrating with his family and friends. The whole thing was majestic and wonderful.

While in Paris, we had time to visit Chantal Crousel to view the amazing Oscar Tuazon Pavilion in a show called 'Shelters'. He wanted to build a space for words and place to read.

Oscar had managed to create some benches which together across 10 benches show the complete collection of Vonu Life a libertarian journal from the 1970s. Oscar has always been interested in off-grid lifestyles, and while I'm not entirely sure what this is about, it continues his research from a publication called 'Dwelling Portably' by Bert and Holly Davis.

Also visited Marion Dana to view Artie Vierkant's new work called 'Profile', which is very much thinking out of the box. Artie has managed to turn human into robot and has taken or bought or stolen, not sure which, all the copyrights and intellectual rights off his friend, whose profile is the subject of this digital incarnation. His friend has renounced all rights to his image and voice for this digital profile, not dissimilar to Pierre Huyghe and Philippe Parreno's Ann Lee who is currently showing in Emotional Supply Chains at the Zabludowicz Collection.

I loved the work of Philomene Pirecki at Supplement Gallery.

Constant Dullaart's 'Message in a Bottle' at Michael Ruiz's Future Gallery was playful.

At Kraupa-Tuskany Ziedler I thought the work by Daniel Keller and Ella Plevin was unconventional and fun. It's an almost post-apocalyptic sculptural installation of a Californian seasteader hermit sitting in his bedroom surrounded by tokens of the world he has left behind.
