Guest Tour: Dr. Aaron Balick

Aaron’s tour will aim to use artworks from the exhibition to provoke thoughts about our own personal relationships with technology. He will engage participants in sharing their thoughts while using the opportunity to apply some contemporary psychoanalytic thinking to human relationships with technology. Copies of his recent book The Psychodynamics of Social Networking will be available to purchase.

Dr. Aaron Balick is a psychotherapist and honorary senior lecturer at the Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies at the University of Essex. His recent book The Psychodynamics of Social Networking: Connected-up Instantaneous Culture and the Self applies psychological thinking to social media and technology.
