About the Artists

Tom Paley (born 1928) is an American guitarist, banjo-player and fiddle player now living and working in London. He was born and raised in New York City and between 1958 and 1963 he was a founder member of the New Lost City Ramblers, along with John Cohen and Mike Seeger. The New Lost City Ramblers were a contemporary old-time string band who were hugely influential in the Folk Revival that paved the way for the careers of Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and many many more. In his long career Tom Paley has had associations with many of the greats of country, folk and blues, like Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, Leadbelly, Clarence Ashley, Doc Watson, Reverend Gary Davis, Sam & Kirk McGee, Brownie McGhee and Ewan McColl.

The Hallelujah Trails are a transplant from San Francisco CA. Guitarist/singer/writer Jeremy Mendonca has been doing his unique version of alternative/bluegrass on these European & UK streets for over 10 years now, fronting bands such as Norton Money, The Rejection, and currently The Hallelujah Trails: a London based duet playing eclectic Americana to ease and shake the soul. Accompanied by Anna Robinson on vocals and bass as well as occasional guests such as Dan Beaulaurier (Norton Money) and Stompin Dave Allen. This harmony driven group promises to leave a melodic imprint on your musical psyche...whether you like it or not!
