Testing Ground for art and education

Now in its fourth year, Testing Ground for art and education presents a number of innovative events and exhibitions including the annual collaboration by curating students from Goldsmiths College and Royal College of Art, a bootcamp for young artists and aspirational creators, a pop-up market for creative startups and an exhibition by Reza Aramesh to launch the eighth edition of his Centrefold scrapbook. 

Creators’ Boot Camp

Organised by the London Creative Enterprise Collective as part of Testing Ground for art and education, the Creators’ Boot Camp offers a day of talks, mentoring and networking to give emerging artists and aspiring creators the tools they need to kick start their careers.

The Vaudeville Hootenanny

A dazzling display of creative splendour designed to edify, amaze and uplift
Presented by School for Creative Startups

The School for Creative Startups' Vaudeville Hootenanny is the perfect antidote to the January blues, combining unique market stalls, live performances, screenings and creative workshops that promise to inspire the creative genius within. This two day creative extravaganza features a variety of handmade products, fashion accessories and home goods as well as vintage fairground fun and hands on activities including a perfume mixology workshop and crafting classes.

As part of the launch exhibition for Centrefold 8 this discussion unpicks the artist’s book, book artworks, and low-key publications as artistic medium and curatorial platform.

A dynamic weekend of events and live radio broadcast organised by curating students from the Royal College of Art and Goldsmiths College. Taking as their starting point the question of how we experience an artwork conceptually and physically when we have not seen it, Acoustic Mirrors invites speakers from a diverse range of backgrounds and members of the public to reflect on the distribution of art today.
