Zabludowicz Collection is delighted to support the National Portrait Gallery's Gillian Wearing and Claude Cahun: Behind the mask, another mask with the loan of a large scale photographic work. Gillian Wearing, Self Portrait, 2000, is a continuation of the artist's fascination with the potential of portraiture and masquerade. It is displayed alongside several key works from Wearing's oevure and in dialogue with work by influentional French artist Claude Cahun. The exhibition forms part of the National Portrait Gallery's I am Me season, focussed on the intersections of art, gender and identity.
