About

In his evolving lecture performance Aide-Mémoire, Uriel Orlow presents material salvaged from research towards future projects to explore the territory between travelogue, slide-show, obscure history lesson and immersive sound-scape. Chains of association, visual clues and narrative fragments are woven into new configurations of past and future, taking in a variety of locations around Armenia and Turkey.

Uriel Orlow works across video, photography, drawing and sound, often taking specific locations and events as starting points to explore the spatial and pictorial conditions of history and memory.
