Agnes Questionmark at Frankfurter Kunstverein

We are thrilled to share the outcome of Agnes Questionmark’s residency on Sarvisalo, where her latest wall works were conceived and fabricated. Known for her multidisciplinary practice spanning performance, sculpture, video and installation, Questionmark explores the porous boundaries between species, bodies and environments.

For 'Anatomy of Fragility' at Frankfurt Kunstverein the artist presents a large-scale installation that transforms medical imagery of open-heart and organ surgery into visceral landscapes of wax, silicone and pigment. Featuring three hybrid figures—part human, part aquatic—emerge as symbols of a fluid identity. In Questionmark’s work, fragility becomes a site of power, and transformation a form of resistance.
