LA based DJ, artist and party-maker, Ashland Mines (aka Total Freedom) curates a night of international DJ acts and live performances. The event brings together some of Lizzie Fitch and Ryan Trecartin's long-term collaborators to create a wild night of art and music. Performances from Raúl De Nieves, Rachel Lord, Total Freedom and others.

Raúl De Nieves

Raúl De Nieves is an artist, designer, and musician based in New York. His work frequently explores boundaries and taboos, spanning large scale installation and sculpture, narrative painting and multimedia. De Nieves has performed at The Whitney Museum, MoMA PS1, MoMA San Francisco, Performa, and appears in Ryan Trecartin's movies, including those presented as part of Priority Innfield. He performs regularly as part of Haribo, an experimental music outfit also featuring artists Jessie Stead and Nathan Whipple. De Nieves' sculptural shoe designs have been exhibited by the Loyal Gallery, photographed by V Magazine, W Magazine and Harper's Bazaar, and worn by Lady Gaga.

Rachel Lord

Although LA based artist Rachel Lord primarily identifies as a painter, her work incorporates performance, writing, digital production and installation. Collaborating with Ryan Trecartin since the pair first met at art college, she appears in a number of his movies including those exhibited as part of Priority Innfield. At the 55th Venice Biennial, Lord appeared as the 'winner' of Dora Budor's reality TV show inspired commission for the Palazzo Peckham. Her recent solo show Documental at Dem Passwords Gallery, Los Angeles, explored ideas of communication and archiving in the age of information technology.

Ashland Mines

Ashland Mines, a.k.a Total Freedom, made his name on the LA clubbing scene planning some of the city's most forward thinking parties. As an artist, DJ and curator he works internationally with collaborators from the worlds of music, art and fashion. In 2012 he curated Blasting Voice, a much celebrated, month-long performance programme for Suzanne Geisse Gallery, New York. He has also produced special events for New Museum, New York, Tate Modern, London, and Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.
