Junko Oki’s ‘anthology’ was breath-taking - the embroidery was embedded with memories of prayer and war. Some of the cloth is of old garments left by his mother from the second world war

Another breath-taking piece was Timur Si-Qin’s ‘Mariposita’. Timur is looking at ecosystems under threat from human activity

Woody De Othello had made the intimate but infinite ‘Two sides that hold truth’ 2026. A big 12 metre cabinet with an array of figures giving on glimpses of African tradition

Entertainment was on hand with children intrigued by Ryan Ganders talking mouse ‘I’ve felt everything I’m going to feel – The Unspeakable World’ Ryan’s animatronic mice are captivating for young people, Ryan has worked with his daughters to make the mouse speak

Egyptian artist Wael Shawky’s piece ‘I am Hymns of the New Temples’ was a beautiful precise presentation of sculptural investigation into ‘Greco Roman mythology’

We loved the cupboards this year - they were like little museums in Regen Project’s we found Catherine Opie and Wolfgang Tillmans
