I went to Asia Now Art Fair and absolutely loved Hoda Tawakol’s ‘Nude #38’ at Gallery Isabelle van den Eynde
We liked Ritsue Mishima at Tristan Hoare Gallery
At Yeo Workshop, Fyerool Darma’s work was interesting
I liked Theegulla Venkanna’s watercolour works at Modesti Perdriolle Gallery
One of the stars of the art fair was Ratheesh T.
Here I am with Désiré Feuerle, founder of the Feurle Collection in Berlin- a wonderful underground chasm of wonder, Heiner Wemhöner, and Liyu Yeo who moderated the talk, before we got started for a panel discussion!
It was an interesting panel and I enjoyed listening to Désiré and Heiner
I took one final look at the fair before leaving for Paris. This was a great work from 1981 by Per Kirkeby
There was something beguiling about this work by Robin Kid at Templon
Tracey Emin’s ‘All the Time I could Feel’ at Xavier Hufkens was moving beyond words
Also at Xavier was a mesmerising Leon Kossoff work
At Chantal Crousel was this compelling work by Jenny Holzer the ‘Fond Old Couple’, produced back in 1981
At Luhring Augustine, I spotted an interesting Oscar Tuazon
I just didn’t know where to stop there were so many wonderful art works! At Regen Projects, I loved this work by Kader Attia, a love story about two civilizations coming together
A final goodbye to BFAMI. Here’s myself with Helena Newman from Sotheby’s, Pamela Crystal and Sandra Lawson
And all the BFAMI group waving a fond farewell to beautiful Paris!
