At last we arrive at the art fair and as usual we are stunned and surrounded by an array of artists with lots of new works to discover!
It was wonderful to see Anna Uddenberg at Kraupa-Tuskany Zeidler
At Piktogram’s stand we loved the work of Zuzanna Czebatu – definitely an artist to keep an eye on. As well as having a stand full of her work she also created a installation in the entrance of the fair
I loved the back of her floor work, beautifully crafted
Rob Tufnell's stand was in the same position and this year he was presenting ‘Lucifer’ by Edward Kay
At BolteLang we were introduced to the work of Patrick Havi
At Galerie Crèvecœur from Marseilles and Paris was work by Renaud Jerez
I had the chance to see the work ‘A Crated Emergency Route: Escaping and Locking’, 2012 by Haegue Yang. This work was part of a 3 piece mobile sculpture at Galerie Barbara Wien
Klodin Erb was one of my favourite artists at Lullin + Ferrari - a wonderful video and some visually pleasing paintings. The subject was all about the life of a lemon. The work was full of humour
At Gagosian there were some imaginative sculptures. The large and impressive ‘Marsupiale’, 2017 by Urs Fisher, a wax sculpture of art collector Fabrizio Moretti entwined with the bust of San Leonardo

We then left the fair for Galerie Buchholz where we saw some great Simon Denny ‘life’ board game works – ‘Crypto Futures Game of Life Board Overprint Collage: 1960’, 2018
Zabludowicz Collection Curator Paul Luckraft and I bumped into Simon Denny and Yngve Holen on the streets of Cologne
Over at Haegue Yang’s solo exhibition at Museum Ludwig we visited our loan ‘Medicine Men’, 2010
Then it was a lovely finish to Cologne - we got to see the Alex Da Corte show at the Kölnischer Kunstverein. Moritz Wesseler and Josh Lilly showed us around before we jumped on the train to Brussels!
