Back in Finland
I was in Finland for the grand opening at the Taidehailli in Helsinki of the Zabludowicz Collection which featured works related to our residencies in Sarvisalo.
Back in Finland
The works looked amazing and generated a great deal of interest for all there. It was a joy to see some of our wonderful artworks on display, such as Sarah Braman's 'Good Morning', 2011.

Antti Laitinen's ‘Bark Boat’ 2011 was a big hit for the locals; Antti represented Finland in the Venice Biennale in 2013.

Lovely to bump into my old friends Nanna and Charles Sandison.

Laura Buckley’s amazing video installation was in the room just beyond and a huge attraction in the show. Laura, Lizzie and I chilling at the end of the evening.

Sam Falls 'Bathing House' was beautifully presented. Lizzie had curated the whole show with the help of our curatorial assistant Rachel.

We had time for a lovely sauna with a view… and what a view!

Later, we had a quick visit to see Kim Simonsson at Galerie Forsblom. The show was called ‘Little Prince and Moss People’.

Back in London I dropped straight into Edel Assanti to check out the creative Adriana Minoliti show.

We headed to the Vogue 100 show at the National Portrait Gallery where there were some great surprises. Honor Fraser was modelling Vivienne Westwood back in 1993 for the ‘Anglo-Saxon Attitude’ shoot by Steven Meisel.

And one of the most extraordinary photos was of Francis Bacon by John Deakin in 1952.
Back in Finland
Then it was to Copperfield Gallery where we saw the most wonderful show by Jane Bustin.
Back in Finland
The show was all based on dance. This work is called ‘The Fern’.
