Autumn is upon us and we say goodbye to our lovely Gemma Donovan, who has worked with us for many years. She heads off now to work at Yorkshire Sculpture Park
While Team Zab are building and hanging our new exhibition, ‘The Stand-Ins’, I have time to visit Jupiter Artland with the BFAMI group, here we are standing in front of Joana Vasconcelos’ swimming pool, ‘Gateway’
Then Robert Wilson took us around and showed us Andy Goldsworthy’s ‘Stone Coppice’ where large rocks have been placed between the branches of coppiced trees
One of my favourite, and most ambitious works, was Phyllida Barlow’s ‘Quarry’
I was very excited to be visiting Rachel Maclean’s ‘Mimi’ which takes the form of an abandoned shop. An incredible dystopian view of fairytale telling
I went back to visit Pablo Bronstein’s installation, Rosewalk, with lovely memories of our very first visit
We stayed in The Fife Arms which had an art installation around every corner. This one was the most dramatic of them all
On my last day in Scotland, we took a walk and came across this wonderfully uplifting work by Martin Creed. Time for yoga
Back in London, I visited Hurvin Anderson’s exhibition, ‘Reverb’, at the Thomas Dane Gallery. Here Hurvin was looking at a Jamaican hotel, comparing the brutal architecture to the luscious landscape and vegetation
At the Zabludowicz Collection was the long awaited art exhibition ‘The Stand-Ins’. It was so wonderful to receive such great support from my friends Wendy and Denise, as we stand next to best friends Jake Miller and artist Caragh Thuring, in front of her Caragh’s two paintings. Here, curator Paul Luckraft is talking about the vulnerability of the human body
The Hetzler family came in full force, seen here along with Ralph Rugoff. Ralph, who has an amazing painting show at the Hayward Gallery wanted to see if there were any comparisons to ours. Finding out that both shows are totally different
We had many special visits, and were more excited than usual after being kept apart through lockdown for so many months. The support of good galleries is mainly what makes us good collectors. It was so wonderful to welcome the De La Cruz family, and celebrate Rosa
We gave some lovely talks and tours of the exhibition, which are still ongoing until we close on 19 December

Then it was back to another branch of Hauser & Wirth in Somerset, for Thomas J Prices’ exhibition ‘Thoughts Unseen’, which felt like a showcase of his works to date
