At Experimenter we encounter the incredible works by Christopher Kulendran Thomas. An A* work in which Christopher has programmed ai himself to create this work of art obliviously continuing to reference so many moments in his native Sri-Lanken History of Art. Appearances can be deceiving. Maybe one of my favourite works in the fair
I have a soft spot for the works by Rebecca Morris and am loving this work at Bortolami. I love the way she textualizes the silver paint and the combination of oil and spray paint
Something intriguing about the work of Seung Au Paik also at Bortolami
Not on the wall but laid on the floor is a cushioned self-portrait by Goshka Macuga ‘Gravitating Artis, Knowledge Comfort’ at Kate Macgarry
I am loving this Afrofuturism movement and the work of April Bey makes me happy Remember that green lady everyone used to have in their living rooms in the 1960s? I think this could be a good replacement by April Bey. ‘The pineapple Portal Grower 9068’ at Vielmetter
Atelier Van Lieshout ‘La Masseusse’ 1921 a cute and fascinating work at OMR
We loved the work Rebecca Ackroyd ‘Evening Star’
At Perrotin is this wonderful wall work by Jean Marie Appriou
We visited Modern Institute - there were so many fun things to see. Yuchi Hirako
Urs Fischer ‘Maybe’, the battery operated moving snails were an incredible mechanical feat. Made of silicone and magnets the snail moved around in perfect circles leaving a trail of synthetic slime, impersonating the real thing in the most endearing way
We loved the Sausage by Andrew J Greene ‘Timeless Symbols (Bratwurst).
Talking about sausage, it was sausage time - the best part of the day! I spot Caroline Bourgeois queuing up for her sausage. Hope she gets it soon
Team Zab, Lizzie, OliviaZab and I - taking a break
