Tatiana Trouvé had some amazing work at White Cube. ‘Untitled’, 2017 is a lovely approach to work on paper, collaging and mounting it on canvas

In contrast was Christian Lindow’s portrait of a woman who died very young, painted a few decades ago

Once again I took a long look at Ida Tursic & Wilfried Mille at Galerie Max Hetzler

In the evening we visited ‘Women House’ at Monnaie de Paris, an incredible group show about the female and domesticity. It was great to revisit Rachel Whiteread’s ‘Modern Chess Set’, 2005
FIAC 2017: Day 2
We had a glorious lunch at Beaux-Arts de Paris where we met the illustrious Per Kirkeby. Per was a very happy man to be out meeting all his wonderful intuitional supporters, here he is with Sir Nicholas Serota

Then it was off to Cahiers d'Art HQ where many beautiful books have been published. Swedish art collector Staffan Ahrenberg showed us around and we were in awe. We particularly loved Per Kirkeby’s brick works

Finally there was time to stop off at Place Vendôme to view Oscar Tuazon’s monumental sculptures
