Frieze London 2017: Day 1
There is excitement all around a great feeling of belonging after finally being reunited with my lovely art family. I am very happy as the sweet shop is ready and waiting to be raided. First stop is Freda Uziyel's house where Eugenio Re Rebaudengo has installed works by two new painters from Germany that he has been keeping up his sleeve: Katja Seib and David Czupryn
Frieze London 2017: Day 1
Czupryn created weird and wonderful objects and last year won the 70th International Bergische Art Prize - an award for one of the best upcoming German artists
Frieze London 2017: Day 1
Christies is a treat I go check out the sales and am taken aback by this fantastic work by Tapio Wirkkala
Frieze London 2017: Day 1
Sarah Cwynar’s new show at Carl Kostyál is as vibrant as ever and does not cease to disappoint
Frieze London 2017: Day 1
I dropped by to see some interesting shows - one being the lovely Austin Lee whose work was on display with De Purys at Maison Assouline in Piccadilly
Frieze London 2017: Day 1
A show stopping exhibition was at White Cube: ‘From the Vapor of Gasoline' is about Post-War trauma in America showing a picture of a dramatic ideological shift. This work by Cady Noland with its draped American flag, Zimmer frame and shopping cart is suggestive of the crippling, trapped society of America at that time
