That evening we joined the Tate International Council to celebrate the work of Máret Anne Sara in the Turbine Hall. She has created a whole Lapland world - dressing in her national costume working with Tiqui Antecio at her side. She is Northern Sámi artist exploring ecological issues using a multidisciplinary lens and practice

Then we once again found ourselves in the big tent at Frieze Masters. It was great to see Vito Schnabel standing under his favourite artists Ron Gochov and Fracis Picabia, alongside a watercolour by Man Ray

At Galleria Continua was an almost retrospective of Berlinde De Bruyckere. An early work from the 1990s. I had not seen her for so long we discovered we both had sprouted grey hair!

We visited my friends home the next morning in Regents Park - she had a broad breadth of collection. An immense array of art works full of discoveries including this table work and sculpture by Laure Provost

The highlight for me at Hauser & Wirth .. and no it was not Nicholas Party but the most wonderful AI inspired painting by Keith Tyson ‘The Garden of Babel’

Camden Art Centre Director Martin Clark selects Bogdan Ablozhnyy as the 2025 Emerging Artist Award. Ablozhnyy was shown by young gallery a.SQUIRE and he will have a solo exhibition at Camden Art Centre in 2026

Over the aisle at Xxijra Hii Gallery we discover Glen Pudvine’s beguiling new work - it looks uneasy and awesome. He is using our obsession with our bodies and fitness as his work and subject matter. He even included a daily performance - visible in the park or on the stand as a digital visualisation - showing his real time exercise and fitness levels. Commitment to the practice indeed!
