I landed in New York on the same evening as the opening of Hans Haacke’s ‘All Connected’ at the New Museum. The show was full of activism and political criticism. I was confronted by the 1983 painting of Margaret Thatcher which features cameos by Charles and Maurice Saatchi on broken plates, representing their influence on her political campaign
