I went to take a few days in the valleys of Switzerland, in Gstaad was a lovely show given by Patricia Low entitled Pious and Profane with Andreas Serrano and Barry X Ball. Beginning with 3D digital scanning then laser cut Carrera Marble
Then it was to the Gstaad Art Fair which was full of gems. At Gathering I liked very much the work of Emanuel de Carvalho
At the lovely Rodolphe Janssen gallery was wonderful work by Louisa Gagliardi. ‘Entre Quatre Yeux’
Then for a little history at Galerie Raphael Durazzo and a delightful Leonor Fini – ‘Drawing for Monsieur Venus’, 1972
It was a pleasure to meet Javier Estevez Hinojosa at Galerie Mascota
Was great to meet up with Lodovico Corsini and be introduced to the work of Nuri Koerfer which for me was a showstopper
I was intrigued by the cupboards of White cube as were others - they managed to fit them in wherever possible
Loved this Salvo and Gormley combo
Off I went to Siegfreid Contemporary in Saanen where Andreas introduced me to the works of Alasdair McLucki from Melbourne. The show is called Primal Scream – it was certainly a release of intense feelings and energy
There was art everywhere in the heart of Gstaad was an incredible work by Thomas J Price
In the twilight was spotted an incredible Louisa Gagliardi who happens to be one of my favourites
