More and More Art!

3 July 2014

London is so exciting when the schools are graduating and my first stop at the Royal Academy was filled with talent.

More and More Art!
Hannah Perry’s work was as usual, full of surprise and wonderment.
More and More Art!
Murray O’Grady was most interesting with his ‘Fortnum and Mason (A study for Sidekicks).’
More and More Art!
Something intriguing about the work of Paul Eastwood.
More and More Art!
In between the schools I had time to visit Camden Arts Centre artist in residence; Caroline Achaintre. Her ceramic works were outstanding.
More and More Art!
The following week we were at the Slade School of Fine Art mingling amongst all the giant floppy palm trees swaying between the pillars.
More and More Art!
I discovered the deeply interesting work of Imran Perretta
More and More Art!
and hiding in the back room was Suzanne Fulbrook’s work.
More and More Art!
In near complete contrast, I visited Thomas Dane to see Phillip King’s work. He was the first artist to use flamboyant colours in the 1970’s.
More and More Art!
I missed the opening but was delighted to see White Cube’s presentation of Leo Gabin, who is well engrained into the Zabludowicz Collection.
More and More Art!
The ICA held a wonderful Annual Gala led by an Eddie Peake performance, which included Russell Tovey becoming his live avatar and expressing Eddie’s feelings. It was very intense and moving!
More and More Art!
Eddie joined us all later for a meet and greet and met two of the art hungry Schachter boys; Adrian and Kai.
