I visited Design Helsinki to check out Habitare which was fantastic. There was an amazing stand of furniture, and Daata was part of the installation too! An incredible success, curated by Anna Mustonen

Then it was straight to Berlin and PalaisPopulaire to discover the incredible LuYang: DOKU - Experience Center, inspired by sci-fi, manga, gaming and techno culture. We loved every minute. This is DOKU Hungry Ghost

This is DOKU Animal. The DOKU are the portals that take you from one world to another in Buddhist meditation. I have always been intrigued by meditation; more exciting than Netflix!

We made it to the Schinkel Pavilion for the performance of Anna Uddenberg’s ‘Fake-Estate’, which saw male models wearing nappies move around the room entering into strange contraptions and holding poses

I felt very uneasy during the performance and didn’t find it humorous. There was an overbearing sense of vulnerability and redundancy of the male

Downstairs, I was on much more familiar ground a major solo show by Jon Rafman, ‘Egregores & Grimoires’ which explored the internet and its impact on our human consciousness

We went to visit the magnificent Marnie Weber show which Tatiana Roth had helped curate

At Société Berlin, we were very excited about the opening of Marianna Simnett’s show. Our favourite piece was the crown

It was wonderful to catch up with Puck Verkade and her partner Thomas van Linge

An amazing surprise was the incredible installation of Rachel Rossin. She was totally on fire, as was the house she had filmed and we held in VR in our hands
