Congratulations VIP Art Fair you are very brave and I am impressed.

All the galleries had made a huge effort.

The fair was brilliant for video art and installations. It was difficult to tune into the fair as an art market mentally due to the lack of human presence and tangible art as in art fairs. It felt as though all the works were in the same ilk as Tino Segal’s: totally there but invisible. However this did not stop my experience being pleasurable and giving me plenty of food for thought and making me want to tackle VIP Art Fair again even if the server was slow.

I was also at the same time feeling quite miffed and frustrated as I had worked so hard for so many years to get Virtualart.com of the ground and not yet succeeded as technology has not yet caught up with my ideas.

My wonderful friend Lisa Tchenguiz wanted a photo in my blog and seeing that she is a producer of the amazing film ‘I Can’t Think Straight’ with the help of Shamim Sarif and Hanan Kattan she is justified as being in the arts. This is a lovely picture with Shaarin and Hanann at her birthday party.

Stefan Ratibor showed me around and the work was very strong considering the artist is so young. We managed to acquire the most beautiful flower painting for the collection.

Finally back at the ranch and we have the PA/PER VIEW art book fair. It was a wonderful book fair which seemed to be a great success.
