Families Create: Action! Painting!

In this workshop led by artist Rosie Gibbens, participants contribute to a group performative painting, using gestures and movements to make marks. Families are encouraged to look at the huge painting by Xie Rong in the Mother Art Prize exhibition, watch the video of her creating the piece, and be inspired to use their own bodies to paint, working on the floor as she does. Coveralls and shoe protectors will be provided.

Families Create workshops are fun for everyone, but we recommend being age 3+. There must be at least one accompanying adult per three children. The workshop will run from 2 - 5pm and you are welcome to join at any time.
