Professor Adam Roberts will lead a tour of the Jon Rafman exhibition exploring science fiction and 19th-century romantic literature in relationship to the artist’s work.

Adam Roberts is Professor of 19th-century Literature at Royal Holloway University of London and the author of many academic books, including The Palgrave History of Science Fiction (2nd ed 2016). He has also published fifteen science fiction novels, most recently Twenty Trillion Leagues Under the Sea (Gollancz 2014) and Bête (Gollancz 2015). His next project will be a racy SF novelisation of Kant's Critique of Pure Reason, called The Thing Itself, which will appear in December 2015.
