Invites Artist's Presentation: Charles Richardson
HEADLESS – a performance by Krzysztof Honowski
To accompany his Zabludowicz Collection Invites exhibition Charles Richardson has invited artist Krzysztof Honowski to make a live event in response to his show.
Referencing football chants, shirtless techno dancing, macho art philosophers and minimalist composers Headless combines video, audio and live performance to explore ideas of masculine self-image.
Krzysztof Honowski studied English literature at the University of Cambridge and then later Fine Art Media at the Slade School of Fine Art. His installation and performance works have been presented at the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Yard Theatre, London; Judith E. Wilson Studio, Cambridge, and Mica Moca Project, Berlin. Subsequent group presentations have taken place at Baustelle Schaustelle, Essen; Kitson Road Living Project, London, and Spandauerstraße 2 Gallery, Berlin. Forthcoming group presentations include I'm with you at the Barbican Centre, London, 2015, and Galerie Patrick Ebensperger, Berlin, 2016. He recently exhibited his first solo presentation at the CASE Projektraum der Fotografie in Cologne.
