About

This dynamic programme of live performance with Mother Art Prize finalists bridges the realms of both visual and live art. The evening features performances by Xie Rong and Hannah Ballou.

6.30pm Rong Xie with An-Ting 安婷, Ffion Campbell-Davies, KV Duong, Heather Morris and Masumi Saito

Rong Xie invites collaborators to share impactful stories relating to their own experiences of motherhood or their relationships with their mothers. Four performances unfold in chapters across various spaces in the gallery, framed by live electronic music from composer An-Ting 安婷.

7.45pm Shhh, Hannah Ballou

Hannah Ballou’s performance Shhh merges bedtime with showtime; she must get the baby to sleep in time for the performance, but if not...the show must go on. Don't laugh too loudly or things could get ugly.

Doors open at 6pm, performances start at 6.30pm. Please be aware that Hannah Ballou's performance contains nudity, explicit language and potential audience participation.
