About

The Zabludowicz Collection is proud to support the first exhibition of Andy Holden's Towards A Unified Theory of MI!MS outside of the UK. On 26 April the monumental sculptural installation will be open at the Kunsthalle Winterhur, Switzerland, where it will be exhibited until 21 May 2015.

Originally presented as the annual Zabludowicz Collection Commission in 2013, Towards A Unified Theory of MI!MS charts the development and impact of 'Maximum Irony! Maximum Sincerity', an artistic movement created by the artist and his friends in their teenage years. Housed in a purpose built multi-storey environment, the exhibition features six chapters of film, works on canvas, and performance recordings alongside materials from Andy Holden's personal archive. Following its display at Zabludowicz Collection, London, the exhibition travelled to Spike Island, Bristol, where it went on to be one of the gallery's most successful shows of 2014.
