About

The Zabludowicz Collection is delighted to loan Christina Quarles' 'I'd A Scope Eyes' to Gammel Strand as part of their exhibition 'Christina Quarles: In the Shadow of Burning Light', from 6 June to 8 September 2024.

The exhibition is created especially for Gammel Strand and is curated in close collaboration with Christina Quarles. The exhibition will be displayed over two floors and is accompanied by both video and text. It is the artist's first solo exhibition in the Nordic region and as such it plays a significant role in introducing Quarles' work to a Scandinavian audience and underlining her position as an internationally acclaimed artist and an important voice of her generation.

Further information on the exhibition can be found on Gammel Strand's website.
