Ellen Altfest at the Wrightwood 659, Chicago, USA

The Zabludowicz Collection is delighted to loan Ellen Altfest's Studio Window at Night (2003) to Wrightwood 659 in Chicago as part of their touring exhibition 'Ellen Altfest, Forever', from 3 October to 20 December 2025.

The exhibition is a selection of 15 oil paintings characterized by surprising pairings of subjects, unorthodox cropping, and, perhaps most notably, scrupulously rendered naturally occurring textures and intricate surface features.
