Families Create At Home: Set Design for Small Things

13 February 2021

Trulee Hall has worked in many different jobs besides being an artist,
including behind the scenes in themes parks and television, where she
learnt how to build the amazing sets she uses in her installation
artworks.

Inspired by these backdrops and Trulee’s DIY skills, artist Anne
Harild leads an online workshop where you can explore how to create
small-scale set designs, inspired by buildings, rooms and shapes from
your life. The scenes you create can then become stages for performances
or plays, or places for puppets, figurines or other small creations to
live.

Suggested materials you will need:
Cardboard, PVA glue, tape, paper, scrap paper, scissors, pencil or pens,
paint, clay or other modelling material, string, wooden sticks.
