Collection Artist Alexandre Singh Wins Oscar for Short Film

We are delighted to share that Alexandre Singh has won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film at the 2026 Oscars, alongside collaborator Natalie Musteata for Two People Exchanging Saliva (2024). 

Singh’s multidisciplinary practice, spanning installation, performance, writing and film, has long explored narrative structures, language and absurdist world-building.

At the Zabludowicz Collection, Singh’s work has been presented in exhibitions including Weighted Words (2012), featuring The Dialogues of the Objects I–V (2011), where language, theatricality and constructed environments unfold through sculptural and performative forms.
