This Saturday, collection artist, Donna Huanca opens CUEVA de COPAL (Hermetic Cave) a new exhibition at Arnolfini in Bristol. SCAR CYMBALS, Huanca’s 2016 annual commission exhibition took place at the Zabludowicz Collection, London and in Bristol she continues to expand on many of the ground-breaking firsts she tested in 2016: including large scale painting, sound, sculpture, lighting, and scent. Each element is used by Huanca to create a holistic manifestation and exploration of the human body. Huanca studied at the Städelschule, Frankfurt as well as the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and has been the recipient of the DAAD Artist Grant and a Fulbright research grant.

Visit the Arnolfini website for more information on new exhibition, CUEVA de COPAL (Hermetic Cave).
