Erin Shirreff’s Roden Crater on loan for artist’s first major survey

Zabludowicz Collection is proud to be supporting artist Erin Shirreff's first large-scale museum survey with the loan of her seminal Roden Crater, 2009. Organised by Albright-Knox Art Gallery, New York, the exhibition brings together her varied explorations into image, object and vision. Roden Crater, 2009, is an atmospheric study of James Turrell's monumental earthwork Roden Crater, 1979, created in her studio with a camera recording an array of lighting effects and filters on an individual photograph, creating the illusion of a real landscape through the passage of time and seasons.

Erin Shirreff continues until 8 May 2016. More information is available on the Albright Knox website.
