The University of Westminster is offering an Open Call to artists working with VR technology as part of a research programme exploring the artmaking process through VR.

The Open Call is aimed at artists who currently work with VR technology, and those who want to work with it. The selected VR artists will work with the School of Computer Science & Engineering to explore the requirements of a VR toolkit from existing platforms which could facilitate the artmaking process for the artist, and give some hands-on experience with the latest tech. The study will look to identify the platforms and processes currently used by artists working with VR and other XR media, and the ways we can share practice to develop creative techniques and apply them.

The study will include three stages made up of virtual and in-person workshops.
