Multiple artworks on loan to RWA, Bristol
Peter Fischli and David Weiss, Busi (Kitty), 2001

About

Zabludowicz Collection has loaned five works by artistic duo's Fischli/Weiss and Guyton\Walker which will be exhibited as part of a group show at RWA, Bristol. Togetherness explores collaboration within the contemporary art world and challenges the historical ideal of the artist as an independent creator.

Embracing everyday objects and surroundings, Swiss artists Peter Fischli and David Weiss began working together in the late 1970's. Within this exhibition Busi (Kitty), 2001, Matterhorn, 1989 and Untitled, 1998 shows their playful and collective dialogue.

Wade Guyton and Kelley Walker have now collaborated for over a decade, utilising the scanner and inkjet printer to expand on their shared interest in the found object and the layering of pattern and texture. These techniques can be appreciated in loans: Pfänder_Abstractcanvas80_Mattress, 2013 and Untitled (Knife Painting), 2005.

Togetherness continues until 9 September 2018. Further information is available on the RWA Website.
