Testing Ground: Master Class invites leading international artists to share their expertise with a small group of emerging artists from around the country over a week long intensive, led by artist Doug Fishbone.

Andy Holden works across multiple disciplines, following a fascination in the interrelated potential of art, philosophy, history and science in understanding human experience. Recent solo exhibitions include: Maximum Irony, Maximum Sincerity 1999-2003: Towards a Unified Theory of MI!MS, Zabludowicz Collection, London (2013), Spike Island, Bristol (2014), and Kunsthalle Winterthur (2015); Folly and Landscape, Collective Gallery, Edinburgh (2013); Laws of Motion in a Cartoon Landscape, Stanley Picker Gallery, Kingston (2012); Cookham Erratics, Benaki Museum, Athens (2011); and Pyramid Piece and Return of the Pyramid Piece for Art Now, Tate Britain (2010). Group exhibitions include: PERFORMA13, New York (2013); and The Universal Addressability of Dumb Things (Curated by Mark Leckey), Hayward Touring (2013). He runs the record label Lost Toys Records, as well as performing regularly with his band The Grubby Mitts, which culminated in the Politics of Friendship tour of artist run spaces around the UK in 2014. Andy Holden lives and works in Bedford, UK.
